Our client, the father, had signed a final consent and always had access rights for several days each month.
Since the separation, the child attended school in Montreal, the father lived in Montreal and the mother worked in Montreal. However, following the mother’s hasty move to the suburbs, the father found himself facing a done deal.
The mother’s actions did not work in her favour: medical information was never shared with the father, important decisions were not made jointly with him, and she did not answer her phone for father-son calls.
Due to the major change brought on by the mother’s move, the father was awarded a stable schedule along with joint custody to ensure the child’s well-being.
The summer period and school break will be the perfect time to start this new custody arrangement!
Our clients don’t always win their case. See notice.
