Both parents live in different cities, and each one wants total custody of their child. Since the trial will take place in several months, the Judge has to settle at the interim stage which one will have custody during the procedures. This decision is important because it determines where the child will start going to school.
In this case that was heard in Longueuil, Mrs Vallelonga, a family lawyer, asked and was granted that the child could stay exclusively with the mother during the procedures. Therefore the child could begin its studies in this city.
A decision at the interim stage can have an impact when the time will come to judge of law and fact..
Not all clients of family lawyer Veronica Vallelonga win their cases. See notice.
A judgment passed in 2015.
