In this new case, our lawyer Giovanna Annunziata was defending a mother of two children who had been in joint custody up to that point. The opposing party (father) was seeking sole custody due to an intervention by the DYP at the mother’s home.
In fact, the DYP intervened in that case, stating that the children’s health and safety had been compromised by the questionable discipline imposed by the mother’s spouse on the two children.
The Superior Court’s written judgment provides for the continuation of joint custody and that the mother must gradually reintroduce the children to her spouse for two months. After that, the mother must be present at all times when her spouse is with her children.
Our lawyers’ recent family law successes are just one example of cases that took a favourable turn for the client. Some cases are decided in favour of the client; others aren’t. It’s important to consult with a lawyer to get legal advice about your situation. See notice.
