The plaintiff was requesting that the defendant pay retroactive&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/csklawyers.ca\/familylaw\/child-support\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"225\">child support<\/a>. However, Attorney Inkel argued that there was an agreement between the parties under which the defendant had actually paid child support to the plaintiff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the case law provided by Attorney Inkel in support of her position, the judge reiterated the principle that the parties can agree on a child support amount that is different from what would be available under the law. Thus, he refused to award retroactive child support to the plaintiff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attorney Amanda Inkel did not prevail in all of her cases.
